They wrote one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded... but few people know the heartbreaking story behind the band that created it.

Badfinger looked like they were destined for greatness.

Signed to Apple Records, backed by the Beatles, and responsible for timeless songs like Without You, Day After Day, No Matter What, and Baby Blue, they seemed to have everything a band could dream of.

But behind the music, financial betrayal and years of mismanagement slowly tore the band apart.

In 1975, songwriter Pete Ham died at just 27 after becoming overwhelmed by the band's financial collapse. Eight years later, bassist Tom Evans also lost his life after years of legal and financial battles tied to the band's legacy.

It's one of the greatest tragedies in rock history... and a reminder that fame and success don't always tell the whole story.

Badfinger gave the world unforgettable music. They deserved a much happier ending.
