Director of Marketing at @GAcademyLeague. Before that at @amazon, @theacc, @HoustonTexans, @SEC + @GulfSouth. @Montevallo baseball player a long time ago.
Big honor to be featured by my hometown station and @tylerwhitetv! Even though I graduated from a small town, I have been fortunate enough to achieve some big things.

Our job is to capture those moments, amplify them, and make them accessible to the communities that care about them most. Huge credit to our leadership, clubs, coaches, athletes, and parents for trusting us to help tell those stories. Six months down. We're just getting started!
Six months ago, the Girls Academy didn't have a dedicated in-house marketing team.
Today, we have a Digital Video Manager, Social Media Manager, and a new Creative Manager all working together to tell the stories of the athletes, clubs, and coaches that make this league special.
What I'm most proud of isn't any individual metric. It's that we've built a foundation.
Our strategy has been centered around a simple belief: The best stories in youth sports (all sports really) belong to the athletes.
In honor of the NFL Schedule Release yesterday, I wanted to share my favorite of the videos our team did when I was leading the @HoustonTexans digital team.
This 2018 "Backyard Football" parody video took 3 months to create, and was a true collaboration.
We actually debated..
@AngryNateFTW@HoustonTexans Was fun to see it come to life. We also purposely held the release of it until 7:30, just to not be in the flood of the feed. Gave it more traction!
Overall, there must have been 20 drafts before it went out.
NFL teams only have the home and away games early, so you have to put in placeholders until you get the actual schedule (usually the morning of the release), so those last few hours are hectic and stressful!
Enjoy!
Along with something that connected to either their team (Cam Wake and the dolphin noises still makes me laugh) or to our fanbase (Von Miller with the A&M callout).
Then our kids got involved, recording the lines that would end up in the video, to give it a childlike feel
@geoffschwartz Small groups, lots of reps. I started at little league, now that same group is a 12U A team. Enjoy the ride and teach them that the best teams do it together!
One of the first times I was asked to be a keynote speaker.
I don’t do that often anymore, but I leave it there to remind myself I’m capable of doing that.
