Regardless of whether Train Dreams takes home any #Oscars today, this will forever remain a high point of 2025 for me. I really connected with this movie & this story. I’m glad it got a Best Picture nomination. We need more raw films like this- one of ‘25’s best without question.
@CinemaTweets1 This ending absolutely knocked me out. Train Dreams continues to rise in my ranks the more I think about it (and it was already pretty high).
@CinemaTweets1 Gotta give the La La Land producer credit for realizing what happened and quickly pivoting to speak in the microphone to tell everyone that Moonlight won. Warren and Kimmel were tiptoeing around not sure how to handle. Jordan Horowitz (I looked it up) helped the situation a lot.
@CinemaTweets1 The Night Of delivers exactly what it set out to do, and agree it rides the performances of Turturro, Ahmed, and of course, our guy Bill Camp.
@CinemaTweets1 So many people missed the point of this show. They watched it like a true-crime-whodunnit and found the ending to be unsatisfactory. The show presents the detriment of being put through the justice system. It never promises to have the crime tied up in a bow.
One of my favorite things about watching #Olympics is adding commentary to a sport I know nothing about.

“Yeah, this is uncharacteristic for her in this round. I’m sure she’ll bounce back in the next heat.”
@CinemaTweets1 In case you’ve never seen it, here’s Steven Soderbergh talking about Fury Road. Can’t think of a better compliment than an acclaimed filmmaker literally not understanding how Miller did it.
