@MJGold Would’ve been a good idea to let SML actually run in this week’s Diamond League for one thing. It would’ve created a good bit of excitement that far outweighed the moral hazard.
@bamabearcat The negative of millions of golfers losing distance when the game is at the height of popularity is a tone def decision. If avoiding bifurcation is the only benefit I rest my case. Millions of golfers compared to a few pros. The USGA is completely out of touch if that is the case
@bamabearcat Why does the matter? Why should amateurs who struggle with the game have to give up even one yard for a rule that is not relevant to them? The USGA has crafted a rule with negative impacts to millions of golfers with no benefits to anyone. It’s an irresponsible rule.
@IanDarke@JanAageFjortoft Any standard for use of replay should be immediate and incontovetible. Think Shot Spot in tennis or goal line technology. Any "technology" that requires review and a further "judgement" call is a net negative to the game and should be revoked.
@LGTIII@ChrisDokish Three "trophies" for Jamie Dixon at Pitt. Two Big East regular season titles and one Big East tournament championship. Collectively, Kevin Stallings and Jeff Capel have zero trophies at Pitt.
@HoopsWeiss College basketball should award bids by league based on coefficients like the Champions League. The approach could also help make the NIT relevant again.
