To mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the Band of the Coldstream Guards performed the US National Anthem at Buckingham Palace today, mirroring the historic gesture made by the UK in 2001. 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

With 11,000 US personnel stationed here in the UK and 900 of our own deployed stateside, our bilateral alliance remains the foundation of Euro-Atlantic security.

We remember all those killed 25 years ago today.

Remembering all those affected by the tragic events of 9/11, 25 years ago today.

A commemorative Guard Change took place on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace this morning, during which The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester took the Royal Salute on behalf of The King.

The ceremony included performances of both US and UK National Anthems, Hymn to the Fallen and Amazing Grace.

Earlier this year, Their Majesties paid their respects at the 9/11 Memorial in New York, as part of the State Visit to the United States.

On the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, the United Kingdom remembers the near 3,000 people who lost their lives on that terrible day, including 67 British citizens.

We pay tribute to all those affected including frontline emergency workers, who continue to confront the threat of terrorism and put their lives at risk to protect others. We honour the courage and sacrifice of members of the Armed Forces who have lost their lives in the fight against terrorism.

Bu maddeler Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti'ni bağlamaz. Çünkü devletimiz 1923 yılında kurulmuş yeni bir devlettir ve İLK ANAYASASI /KURUCU ANAYASASI, 1924 Anayasasıdır.

1921'de Mustafa Kemal bir devlet başkanı değildir. Henüz ortada "Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti" diye bir tüzel kişilik de yoktur.

İlk KURUCU MECLİSİN hazırladığı 1924 Anayasasının SON HALİNDE SAYILAN devletin siyasi ve hukuki esasları, KURUCU ESASLARDIR.

Diğer 28 farklı etnik kimlik, "kurucu unsur" olan Türklerle birlikte ve Türk Milleti adı altında, bu EN ÜST DÜZEY TOPLUMSAL SÖZLEŞMEYİ kabul etmiştir.

Bugünkü TBMM'nin bir KURUCU MECLİS OLMADIĞINI, zaten "devleti kuran temel hukuki ve siyasi esasları" değiştirme yetkileri olmadığını, söylemeye bile gerek yok.

Dolayısı ile; 1921 ve öncesinin siyasi ya da hukuki vaadlerinin ne olup olmadığını tartışmayı kabul etmenin, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'ni kuran Türk Milleti'ne zararı var, faydası yok...

Last week, Gen. Christopher LaNeve, Vice Chief of Staff and Acting Chief of Staff of the Army, and Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Weimer visited the U.S. Army Pre-Command Course at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

The visit allowed the Army’s top uniformed leaders to reinforce the Army Azimuth — charging the next generation of battalion and brigade command teams to deliver the Army our nation needs: disciplined, lethal and relentless.
