Cody Hendricks has won election to the @cityblm council ward 6 (d’town) w/ close to 60% vote over Jordan Baker. He says Baker came to congratulate him. Hendricks, who served on the Pekin council previously, says starting the campaign last Aug. helped get a head start. #WGLTvote
For his part, Danenberger says he feels ‘fine’ now but ‘we’ll see in an hour,’ adding he’s encouraged by higher than expected turnout in early and mail-in voting. He was up by more than 100 votes at the time over Steven Nalefski, but his lead has grown since then.
