@PSCommissioner I fully agree and am working on this with the RCP who have just launched an award in my name to encourage communication and engagement https://t.co/L39oRjWOU9
It is based on my experience as a teenage cancer patient and my later work in support groups and teaching communication
Applications are now open for the Eric Watts Award for Excellence in Patient Care and Patient Engagement.
The award recognises those who are improving the patient experience. Applicants do not need to be members or fellows of the RCP.

Excellent tutorial yesterday with student radiographers at LSBU. Two former patients explained what it was like to have radiotherapy and how radiographers can make it easier for patients. It was great to see so many motivated young people. #cancersurvivor#cancer#lsbu
Tonight's Question Time BBC1 is all about the NHS - the audience has been selected and the questions prepared.
