Encouraging progress in Kenya’s Ebola response.

Five patients have recovered and are being discharged from hospital today, while 46 more contacts have completed quarantine and returned home.

No new Ebola case has been reported since 19 October 2026, with no evidence of community transmission.

The Ministry of Health continues heightened surveillance and urges the public to remain vigilant, seek medical attention early and welcome recovered patients home without stigma.

Together, we are bringing this outbreak to an end.
