New York traffic is no joke, placed ourselves just on the Jersey side of the GW Bridge. 18 miles from JFK. We were sitting in a Lyft 2.5 hours before the flight. It took 1.5 hours to make it to the airport. After getting through security, we made the gate 12 minutes before departure. American Airlines policy is door shuts 15 minutes before flight. So we missed it by 3 minutes. Crazy thing is plane was at gate easily an extra 5 minutes past the departure time.

Looks like we will fly at 5pm. All we can do is make the best out of a tough situation. So Cobblestones in Terminal 8 it is! Anybody flying out of Terminal 8 at JFK today come say 👋. #BarstoolBlythe @BarstoolBigCat
