People tune it out because it’s hyperbole. Then if it eventually becomes true, nobody’s listening.

Talarico is a dubious fit for Texas, but Paxton is so flawed that the race is very close.

@Richard90618832 Why? Voters came close to electing Beto in 2018 when he was running against Cruz. Cruz is a far stronger opponent than Paxton. Paxton may win, but Talarico has a real chance.

Talarico is distancing himself from his former “left wing nutbag” self. it may work.

@ZachFOCO @PpollingNumbers Trump got 49.8 and Harris 48.3; so it was off 3 points for trump and under 2 for Harris. margin of error type stuff.

YouGov isn’t the best poll, but all the Paxton-Talarico polls show a tight race.

Paxton may win, but it looks very close.
