Virginia High School League (VHSL) has reversed course and will now comply with the Executive Order to keep biological males out of girls’ sports.
The announcement from VHSL confirms that they will limit girls’ sports to students assigned female at birth, effective immediately.

I ran for the School Board on the promise to keep our kids safe and stand against radical gender ideology in our schools.

This is a step in the right direction to ensure student safety, and keep the focus on academic excellence in PWCS.

🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day, It’s vital to remember the importance of teaching our students about service, sacrifice, and the value of freedom. Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

We have a unique opportunity—and responsibility—to ensure that our young people understand the cost of freedom and the dedication of those who protect it. By sharing stories of service, honoring our veterans, and fostering a deep respect for those who serve, we can instill in our students an appreciation of the sacrifice it takes to preserve our nation’s values.

On a personal note, I want to give a special shoutout to my favorite veteran, my husband, who continues to be a hero to our boys and a powerful example of service and sacrifice. Thank you for instilling in our family a deep love for our nation and respect for those who serve.

To all who have served and continue to serve, thank you for showing us what it means to protect and uphold freedom. Today and every day, we owe you our gratitude. 🇺🇸

I am proud to support Governor Glenn Youngkin's new executive order advocating for cell phone-free zones in our schools. This initiative is crucial for ensuring that our students' minds, education, and well-being are protected.

At a few meetings this year I have encouraged my colleagues on the school board to enact a full cell phone ban for students in Prince William County schools.

By removing this distraction, we can create a more focused and productive learning environment.

🐅 Exciting day for Brentsville District High School! 🎉 I traveled to Charlottesville to watch the Lady Tigers Soccer Team win the State Championship. 🏆 The game went into overtime, and the victory was secured with Peyton McGovern's incredible shot to the upper right corner! ⚽️The Brentsville Tigers fought hard, played excellent defense, and brought home the victory.
