Are you going to keep apologizing for every video that pops up on our timelines or will you address how this unbelievably awful situation was allowed to happen in the first place?
Just met Pamela, who is currently a student at @ALUeducation in Rwanda and working full-time as an air hostess for @flyrwandair. Talk about determination and perseverance! 👏🏾
1. STUPID ARROGANCE
In Western elections, less than 30% of voters participate.
Candidates who receive 14% of the votes become president or prime minister. This is what Kenneth calls true democracy and real competition.
The question is, why do 70% not participate?
This article is inconsiderate, distasteful & raises concerns about historical accuracy.
Providing a platform for a genocide denier to humanize & mourn a genocidaire in chief during #Kwibuka30 is a lack of responsibility and emotional intelligence to the victims and survivors of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.
The use of "plane crash triggered" validates genocide deniers' theory that suggests a lack of planning, which contradicts established facts.
I know you can do better.
Recently found out there’s a Kwibuka Podcast (Eng & Kiny.) with detailed information on different aspects of the 1994 Genocide Against The Tutsi. This is an incredible resource for accurate information. This can be a great source to cite when writing essays! #Kwibuka30#RwOT
"There are 365 days in a year, give us that day of commemoration, 7th of April, commemorate with us and you can have the rest, 364 days, blaming us for everything you don't like about us." President Kagame | #Kwibuka30 Press Conference
Deeply disappointing to see the level of racism exhibited by CNN here, I can’t imagine a world where a nazi would be invited on CNN while people are commemorating and remembering their loved ones but this is what Rwandans are subjected to still 30 years later.. Shame on you @CNN
There’s beauty in the fact that even though we may not know nor meet each other in person, right here, we can commemorate together.
No voice for the next 7 days should be louder than our remembrance 🩵

Still can’t stop thinking about that video. The barbarity of burning a man alive and resorting to cannibalism is beyond comprehension. The world’s silence on such heinous crimes is another painful reminder that we are on our own. Mbega agahinda🤦🏽♀️💔
📹 Right from the maker space:
Listen to the students of Maranyundo Girls School who aspire to become #Rwanda's robotics engineers.
Today, as we celebrate #IDG2023, their voices resonate well with the theme "Our time is now—our rights, our future."
