When I was an undergrad at @HunterSociology I was awarded the 2010 @critcrim Undergraduate Student Paper Award & my professor Dr Chancer accepted it on my behalf (I was too poor to attend). @ASCRM41 13 years later, she's at the @ASCFemCrim Award Ceremony for my New Scholar Award!
THEN THERE IS THIS! The BOG voted to eliminate sociology classes from General Education Courses. This came as an amendment at the meeting and is insane -- how do students learn about sociology if the gen ed option is taken away from them?
Clearly that is the point.

White woman on train to Hartford, CT sits down next to two Muslim women and starts ranting about how Obama is to blame for letting foreign exchange students into the country. (They were mother and daughter, not students or foreigners).
Then Karen gets dragged for filth by the train conductor
ESS is thrilled for Xuemeng! She has served as an instrumental part of our conferences, behind the scenes, for the past several years. She was a critical reason that 2021 was launched virtually. Well deserved! Congratulations!
