@_WarrenFeldman Renters issues are a top policy priority right now. Would love to chat about the many rental and housing reforms that have been implemented! You’re right the student voice is critical.
What happens when a super majority of women and the most diverse Council in Ann Arbor history is elected? Sadly, some organize to change the rules. Vote NO in November on Prop C. and please Donate. Knock doors. Combat misinformation. https://t.co/aVioL4H210
@_WarrenFeldman So glad you mentioned why you’re interested in nonpartisan. Unfortunately there are really significant differences in how prop c and other progressive cities have nonpartisan elections. Without primaries or ranked choice, non progressive candidates have much better chances
Did you know there is a kooky proposal to provide a 9:1 match to local political candidates using the general fund so fringe and unpopular candidates can fund their campaigns? Ann Arbor, Vote NO in Nov. on Prop D. https://t.co/yXxUAbr5By
Thank you to the MI 6th Congressional District Democrats for overwhelmingly endorsing “Vote NO on Ann Arbor Proposals C & D” today!

Happy Bike to Work Week! Though biking to work is great all year long, it’s especially pleasant when the spring flowers are blooming and the sun is shining.
Starting today at 4pm! Three days of Downtown Planning Workshops | A2 Comprehensive Plan. Make time to stop by, learn, and share your thoughts. https://t.co/uGTptPFxXS
I’ll admit it, I wasn’t particularly excited to head out on bike today for a quick trip to Argus. But I was glad I did as soon as I got out the door. Fresh air, a beautiful winter wonderland, and a happy body awaited me. #conquerthecold#shoplocal
Packed house tonight. Around 150 present to oppose MDOT Rail’s proposal to fence off the railroad to ostensibly improve pedestrian safety, with zero investments to improve pedestrian access under/over railroad and no accommodations for wildlife. No thanks MDOT.
@lisauve_ Definitely agree. This is why I pushed for and supported Council removal of “by-right” development proposals as well as a comprehensive review of our development processes so we can address costly delays.
But the reality is we have SO much more to do on #a2council. I’m running for re-election in 2024 because the really tough work lies ahead. Let’s do it together. https://t.co/aez0dEDHTk (3 of 3)
We’ve substantially increased funding for nonmotorized transportation and climate action, enacted major land use and criminal legal reforms, increased support for social service providers, hired a highly capable Administrator, +++(2 of 3)
In 2020 I ran for #a2council because I saw a dysfunctional Council that was systematically standing in the way of progressive policy. We’ve made so much progress in the last 2.5 years. (1 of 3)
I was excited to co-sponsor this important ordinance change initiated by Councilmember Harrison. And I’m so thankful to the many residents and individuals who came forward to share their personal stories to reinforce how impactful and necessary this reform is for our community.
What started as a murmur ended in a roar and celebration for justice with last night’s #a2council vote for my Driving Equality Ordinance. Community gave voice to racial realities, we responded by re-prioritizing police work. Rest in power Philando Castile. https://t.co/g2JQkGV0LE
I was elected to A2 City Council in November 2020, here's a summary of some of the highlights of the last two years. What should our focus be over the next two? https://t.co/AZp7TmE7qQ
