Even before I switched to the bougie walnut shell litter for my boys, I was using unscented clay litter. I was ahead of the “a lot of things in artificial scents are bad for cats” revolution.

I forgot how bad scented cat litter smells. One of our farm cats at work got a big owie from a raccoon, so they’ve been moved into our break room over night at least until he’s done with antibiotics, and the litter box, even clean, is so overwhelming.
