Bacon/pork: Yes, explicitly prohibited (haram) in the Quran for observant Muslims.

Women showing hair: Quran 24:31 and hadiths require hijab modesty covering hair in public for women

Depictions of the Prophet: Strong prohibition on images of Muhammad

Music: Many hadiths criticize instruments and certain music as haram or makruh; opinions can be total ban

Dogs: Dog saliva is considered ritually impure in most schools of Islamic jurisprudence. Keeping dogs as pets is discouraged or forbidden

Gays and homosexuality: Islam condemn it. Criminalized with severe penalties

Marrying a 6-year-old refers to the hadith accounts of Aisha’s marriage to Muhammad (betrothed at 6-7, consummated at 9). This is acceptable

They went to a restaurant, and then went to a club afterwards. while standing in line to get into the club two Hispanic women walk up to them telling the wife that they can’t get in, and asking her if she spoke Spanish. She replies I’m sorry I don’t.. they proceeded to grab her by her hair and throw her to the ground at which point her husband steps in and is trying to get them off of his wife while three other dudes come up and start beating the crap out of him. This is in front of a line full of people, and bouncers. Nobody stepped in to help them.

Je viens de sortir du commissariat où j’ai déposé plainte.

Lors du conseil municipal du 29 juin, Maître Vignon, adjoint en charge de la sécurité et avocat, a exhibé un courrier comportant mon nom et mon adresse personnelle devant les caméras et les Saint-Quentinois présents, après avoir diffamé sur le fait que je ne vivais plus ici.

Il est particulièrement inquiétant qu’un élu chargé de la sécurité, et qui plus est avocat, puisse se permettre un tel comportement. On est en droit d’attendre de ceux qui dirigent notre ville qu’ils connaissent et respectent la loi. Comment faire confiance à des responsables qui donnent le sentiment de méconnaître les règles les plus élémentaires qu’ils sont pourtant censés faire appliquer ?

Par mesure de sécurité dans ma rue, j’avais choisi de ne pas inscrire mon nom complet sur ma boîte aux lettres, celui-ci étant régulièrement arraché. Une précaution rendue inutile en quelques minutes par Monsieur Vignon.

À l’heure où l’insécurité progresse, exposer publiquement l’adresse personnelle d’un habitant est d’une gravité particulière.

J’ai donc décidé de saisir la justice.

La sécurité n’est pas un slogan. C’est une responsabilité. Et je continuerai à défendre cette exigence pour tous les Saint-Quentinois.
