@sminster10@AmericanAir I am absolutely done with @AmericanAir. Was going to get me two days late to vacation had to take Southwest to not lose out on thousands of dollars and all I got out of it was a couple hundred bucks credits
@_charlotte_MD_ Hi Charlotte, @SouthwestAir was the airline I had to use to get me to my destination. Received several calls on this from you but not from @AmericanAir who caused the problem.
@AmericanAir this was your attempt to resolve. I had to rebook on @SouthwestAir, thankful for them, lose a day at the hotel and essentially $180 travel credit per person was the best you got
@clark_southwest Thank you Mike and @SouthwestAir, but this is an @AmericanAir issue to resolve on their end. At least you all are able to get me to my vacation earlier and at a decent cost.
In addition, the check in agent did not even note the account which I waited additional time for him to do so.
I was told by the phone agent that they had to take my word for it so there wasnβt much they could do.
Glad I am trustworthy but your failures arenβt excusable.
@airlines6633 I have added to the DM I originally started with this information. I am completely dissatisfied with the resolution that we have gotten thus far and the check in agents lack of follow through. He didn't even note our account that we were there and going to seek a refund.
@AmericanAir Waited in line at check in for over an hour and 45 mins and missed our flight, just to be told there was nothing they could do and try to rebook me for Monday, 2 days later for vacation that starts today. Not able to get a refund from the hotel for the days lost.
@AmericanAir Currently on with a nice agent, should be working at the airport but she is seeing how she can help. Will DM or hopefully sing her praises in a few moments.
