Since the show premiered I’ve been having way too much fun with one of my #TwitterOfTime character accounts to spend any time with this account… Is that bad?
@TigraineMantear Unfortunately I wouldn’t date any of them, they’re all a little young for me. Who even is my age? I feel like just about every woman in the series is either a teenager or 200 😂
I’m hearing from Rafe that he’s keeping you all on your toes..that he refuses to be predictable AND he’ll be posting at some point on this Wednesday. I also happen to know what he’s up to so you’ll forgive him one day in the future. #WoTWednesday#TwitterOfTime
It’s truly wonderful to be part of such a unique #TwitterOfTime community. The respect, creativity, humor, and diversity blows my mind. I may never make it to a faraway convention, but after @thewheelreads show tonight I just feel a Squee for all y’all.
Reading student responses to Denis Villeneuve’s “Arrival” … and I continue to think it’s one of the best SF films ever made.
Beautiful and brilliant. Poignant and powerful.
Goddamn I just want to shake Denis’ hand for giving the world such a gift.
@roaming_aiel@Fantasy4theAges Don’t read the last two. They have their moments, but Simmons often goes the “first two books were wrong” route. An author’s allowed to do that, but the first ideas were better (and award-winning).
@jweisel@GawynS I haven’t read that one! Just the Hyperion series and Children of the Night. Want to read Ilium.
“You are reading this for the wrong reason.” -Dan Simmons, “Endymion”
@GawynS “The Hegemony Consul sat on the balcony of his ebony spaceship and played Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in C-sharp Minor on an ancient but well-maintained Steinway while great, green saurian things surged and bellowed in the swamps below.” -Dan Simmons, “Hyperion”
@PerrinsNose @MatsPips @BonoboMonkey13 Someone went to the college where RJ’s notes are located and went through a lot of them, finding some rather intriguing (massively spoilery) tidbits.
