@LucasMFRaymond@mkabes51@Canes you should have been begging yzerman to learn puck, maybe you guys would have made the playoffs after leading the east going into the olympic break 😭😭😭😭 have fun with your mediocrity over there in detroit, ehlers is better than everyone on your team not named seider.
@wewendel@LucasMFRaymond@Canes thanks for the best defenseman on our stanley cup winning playoff run rangers, hope you enjoy years of two-way contract scott morrow while the “overpaid” key celebrates winning the cup with his baby 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It’s been a helluva journey. While I believe there is plenty more to come, the years of disappointment makes it even sweeter. How about those Carolina Hurricanes? @Canes
Frederik Andersen elects to continue his career with Connor McDavid and the Oilers.
"Zilla" went 98-49-10 over five seasons with the #Canes and departs after accomplishing the ultimate goal.
Wishing him good health and continued success.
Hey Caniacs,
Jordan Staal here.... WE GOT IT DONE! This was a season I will never forget. THANK YOU.
I wrote this to remember it all! @PlayersTribune https://t.co/fM2Aod1okV
Shayne Gostisbehere was asked at Media Day what it's like seeing the city come alive for the #Canes during the playoffs.
Fans will love his response.
“The city’s always alive for us, to be honest. It’s not just the playoffs. Throughout the whole season, they’ve been behind us. They’re called the Caniacs for a reason.
It’s definitely cool to see the extra boost, for sure, and all the watch parties around town, and what you see on social media. It’s to be expected here, because I know they love hockey, and people from here know that. I don’t know if people from outside [of here] do, but people from here get it.”
Raleigh is a prime example of how to build a hockey culture.
The Carolina Hurricanes have turned it into one of the best hockey towns in the NHL, despite lacking a cold climate/deep history. This was outside Lenovo Center after the Game 2 ECF win.
Hockey belongs in the south.
