Who is your biggest enemy? Did many people come to mind? Did groups of people come to mind? If they did, you are lost.
Your greatest enemy is between your ears. Your greatest enemy is formidable, and relentless.
If you need drugs or alcohol to calm the storm. It’s not your mind you are calming. It’s you’re very spirit. Your spirit battles for the drivers seat, but your mind will not relinquish. You can intoxicate your very spirit and doom your growth.
People get exhausted hearing that the only way is to surrender to God. You know exactly why this is exhausting but what you know is a lie. Your mind wants you exhausted with this because it will do anything to stay in the driver seat.
Why is God a mighty warrior? Who has he fought? He was able to overcome the world. Why are you not a mighty warrior? The world/your mind is dragging you this way and that.
Don’t allow your mind to determine that you are exhausted with the only way. Surrender under God. He will guide you step-by-step. Following God, you will overcome the world. You will overcome your mind. One day, you will truly be free.

@CuriosityonX Sin. Basically sin is separation from God. That is what is causing us from coexisting peacefully. If everyone surrendered to God. There would be no drugs. No prostitution. No abortion. No rape. No hunger. No laziness. No rage. There would be faith, hope and love for all humanity.

@globalconfy That is what Christianity teaches. Jesus was sinless. And at the same time, he is our advocate with the father. We treated him, abominably. And he speaks up for us with the father. Rape is not OK. And at the same time, we must forgive to be forgiven.
