@bobsmietana@SKMorefield Appreciate the effort, but you can't reason with these folks. It's not even a matter of intelligence but a rather slowly grown disdain for science institutions that feeds into a growing belief in broad conspiracies... 🤷♂️
@strawberrylettr@AlexBerenson There is a difference between sterile immunity and clinical immunity. This was heavily discussed in medical circles but not well presented in the media
@CapitalistApe@AlexBerenson "... that prompted the CDC to make that recommendation, that when people are vaccinated, they can feel safe that they are not going to get infected, whether they`re outdoors or indoors..." 2/2
@CapitalistApe@AlexBerenson With a more context of the actual May 17 MSNBC bit: "...So, low likelihood of transmission, low likelihood of getting infected. When you do get infected, the chances are, you`re going to be without symptoms. And because of that, that was the accumulating scientific data..." 1/2
Hey @affinitybyserif , any plans on fixing the issue of random rectangle cutouts when drawing with a soft brush in a selected area on iPad? Not reversable! Another 4 hours of work destroyed within seconds 🤮
@TomDNaughton That's true. Though I would argue that the effective tax rate back then was still higher, but more due to corporate and estate taxes. My point was, the U.S. was far from being communist because of that.
@Titteryenot2@hupomene226@DrAseemMalhotra btw, George Orwell and his writings are great. Too bad his books aren't understood well these days. To quote him directly: "Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism"
