Doorbelling apartments today in Bellingham.
Many are deeply concerned about the high rent and childcare costs. We can, and must, have better state level policies to reduce the high cost of living.
As a child psychologist and your next State Senator, I will always evaluate bills by this measure: Does it make life less or more affordable for families and individuals right here in Whatcom County?
We deserve better.

Knocking lots of doors in Bellingham today!
Many people here are concerned about our local economy and vacant buildings downtown. We must address local state level policies for the greater good of our community that are having negative impacts right here in Whatcom County.
We deserve better.

Sadden to learn that Nooksack Mayor Kevin Hester has passed away. He also served our community as a Whatcom County Sheriffโs Office Chief Deputy, in law enforcement for 30 years, and led Nooksack through the devastating floods.
Prayers and condolences to the Hester family at this time.

Hit over 100 doors in Bellingham today!
People here are very concerned about homeless encampments. Whatโs going on now is inhumane.
We must improve state laws to bolster public safety in our communities and provide real solutions for our most vulnerable populations.
We can, and must, do better.

Itโs our Wedding Anniversary today! We are celebrating the day by knocking on lots of doors to earn your vote.
Thank you Jesse for being incredibly supportive of not only me and our family for the past 23 years, but for our community too in so many respects!
We must restore affordability and commonsense to state government.

I couldnโt agree more.
Regular Democrats, Independents, and Republicans increasingly agree that we must turn our state around to improve our quality of life.

Doorbelling in Blaine and hearing a lot of concerns about how unaffordable our state is.
People are hurting.
We need more balance and common sense in state government to make our state affordable again.

Memorial Day: We honor those we lost not only with silence and grief, but by walking together โ reminding one another that sacrifice is remembered, and that no family carries that loss alone.

Affordability: As your next State Senator, I promise to look at every bill through this lens: Does it make life more affordable or unaffordable in Whatcom County?
In sharp contrast, one of our opponents is endorsed by the WA State Senate Leader, the same individual that has been quoted saying your own earnings/income should NOT be considered your property and wants our courts to make that concept legal, according to The Center Square. This is wrong and wholly unacceptable. It breaks my heart to see so many hardworking people barely struggling to get by, while our state government's greed continues to make their lives worse by increasing the already high cost of living.
It's time for a change. For far too long, regressive taxes have plagued our community, with no end in sight. Sales taxes, property taxes, rent, gas taxes, groceries, utility bills, child care, health care costs and more have soared or expanded without any signs of stopping. Families and individuals cannot afford this; it's unsustainable. We must be laser focused on reducing the high cost of living in state government, spending wisely to fund quality services, and cutting taxes for the working class to turn our state around. Itโs all essential to improve our quality of life.

Memorial Day parades matter because healing is collective.
We honor those we lost not only with silence and grief, but by walking together โ reminding one another that sacrifice is remembered, and that no family carries that loss alone.
Great day meeting voters door belling!
People are very concerned for their childrenโs future from the quality of their education to their safety in our community.
As a Child Psychologist and School Board Director, I know our state government can and must do better for them. I will fight hard for our kids. ๐ฏ

Iโve had the privilege of working with many veterans throughout my counseling career and witnessed the depths of their sacrifices firsthand.
These are individuals who have carried burdens most will never understand, giving of themselves in a way that leaves lasting marks, both seen and unseen.
Their resilience, courage, and quiet strength continue to humble me, and their stories stay with me long have our conversations end.
Thank you to my daughter who made the video.
