@MasonParking @GMUparking The point that I am trying to make, and that you seem to have missed is that things are far too expensive for your average working college student to afford. A student paying tuition at GMU shouldn’t have to park 20 mins from campus to take a shuttle when they live 15 mins away

They do not have the funds to pay a $100 ticket or even an $85 dollar ticket. Seeing a yellow envelope on the windshield of your car should not cause a student anxiety about whether or not they will be able to have a decent meal for the next month.

To put the cost of GMU’s parking tickets in perspective, for me personally, you’ve taken the amount I would spend on 2 months worth of groceries. Or roughly two weeks worth of gas for my car. Most students at George Mason commute and most students going to George Mason work.
