Just because someone wants to challenge Stacy does not make them anti-union.The rhetoric that any opposition is automatically right-wing or against labor rights is not grounded in reality.True leadership comes from an exchange of ideas,& that includes holding space for criticism.

As CTU leaders, we will not use PAC money to pay our siblings that live out of state for field organizing work for school board elections. That's easy for us because it is ethical, but for current leadership, hard to do.

CTU needs to advocate for the release of all TIF dollars. We are old enough to remember when @coreteachers was against all TIFs. What happened? Wait, we can answer that. Releasing all TIFs will help prevent these cuts & prevent a loan. This is why we need new leadership.

Wait, so mayoral control is okay when it's Brandon but not okay for any of our other previous mayors? Like, keeping the school board hybrid so he can appoint his people. telling this board who the interim CEO will be.

Why isn’t our union telling the city to make their own pension payment so we can save classroom positions?

This isn’t our payment to make. Legally, it is the city’s. It needs to stay off our books.
