What a great trip to Oregon Ridge we had today! We learned about the adaptations of various species of birds and went on a hike to observe different types of birds in the wild 🐦🐤🦉

Ss identified an area on our school’s campus that has physical features. We discussed how humans can impact the land by building human made features. They drew how the land looks now and will add an “after” picture that shows how humans could impact this land 🌎 @flesbcps

Today we learned about Earth Day and ways we can reduce, reuse, and recycle ♻️ We went on a nature walk and used a checklist to search for items in nature. We even had some 3rd grade friends come join us to help! 😊 @flesbcps

This school year, we “adopted” a calf named Margie!! We have been receiving updates on her growth throughout the school year and learned a lot about dairy cows in the process. Today, we had the opportunity to join a live chat with Farmer Alice and Margie! 🐮
