Locked in and masked up! Getting ready and prepared for our scrimmage this week at Noble. Focus on the details in the classroom and on the playing field in order to be successful this week. ONE FAMILY ONE MISSION #CDEPT
My aunt died of COVID last night right here in OKC. My uncle is still in ICU on a ventilator. Every one of those numbers you see when they give the tallies on the news is somebody's aunt, uncle, husband, sister, whatever. Don't ever forget that.
My babies are too young to read this now. And they’d barely recognize me in my gear. But if they lose me to COVID I want them to know Mommy tried really hard to do her job. #GetMePPE#NYC
If you had #COVID19 and will not have a test to see if you are still contagious, only leave your sick room and home when ALL of the following are true:
•No fever for at least 72 hours (3 days)
•Other symptoms have improved
•It has been 7 days since you started feeling sick
A10: My staff & myself are strongly encouraged not to say “that’s not my job”. Instead, we get together and troubleshoot the situation. Sometimes it’s stepping out of our comfort zones to make sure the students get what they need and help each other. We are working on it. #oklaed
A9: It’s important to “walk the walk” here I think which I think we all struggle sometimes with. You have to not allow yourself to fall into the trap of making procedures your first priority. I find a listening ear and presence is a good starting point. #oklaed
A5: If we use the compliment sandwich with adults, why not kids? Build them up, give them some constructive feedback/interventions and then build them up again! #oklaed
