Mama of a little leader, proud teacher, Grasslands ATA #34 Past-President. I may enjoy politics. It is possible to support oil and public services in unison!
TEACHERS hi it’s Hal
DM me your virtual link and a time Tuesday or Wednesday that you have a remote class & I will jump on and give you and the kids a Bodybreak!

The Government of Alberta itself failed to report the case to police when it received the report of the teacher’s conviction of unprofessional conduct in an ATA disciplinary hearing. #abed#ableg
@ArleneDickinson If you’re looking for a great stocking stuffer for that sport fan in your life to help them hang, display or show off their favourite jersey then check this out https://t.co/YMxv2hkLG6 thanks @ArleneDickinson great idea!
Grasslands will certainly miss trustees Jody Trembecki, Shaun Roth, Melanie Chapman and Kathi Jacobson. Thanks for your dedication to students. It was much appreciated.
@KevinCTV @CTVCalgary As always, poor fiscal management, poor judgement. In a province claiming it can’t afford to pay its nurses, or physicians, how was this decision even contemplated, let alone implemented. What a waste of taxpayer money.
The Minister of Health just said "it's clear schools need to be a priority." The ATA, parents, teachers, medical professionals have been saying this and calling for greater support for months now.
I really hope that this isn’t true.
Our healthcare workers are exhausted. People are going to hospitals for care and treatment.
Protesting at a hospital is just gross.
@AB_MD_WarRoom This is fact. They don’t need to cut Nurses, Doctor or Teacher pay, education funding, health care, or any service. They need to learn how to manage money & govern the province like responsible adults.
@sunrickbell Certain politicians are quick to use the union boss term as a way to divide people, cast negativity, etc. but in the end it's just noise and nonsense. It's meant to distract us from the issues. People can see through it.
.@jkenney just expanded his Cabinet, giving several @Alberta_UCP MLAs a pay raise. He has the largest and highest paid Premier’s Office staff ever, which includes a “Tour Manager”, yet he professed fiscal restraint and wants to cut Nurses’ wages by 3%??? #ableg#abpoli
Sure, it’s fine for those students who learn well in a rote manner, but it leaves countless other students who learn in other ways out in the cold, leading to an increase in math anxiety and apathy. It’s simple. There is no one-size fits all. Differentiation is a must. (5/7)
