@lady_valor_07 When I was a kid, it would have taken a very, very, long extension cord for the phone...oh, streetlights? What streetlights? We came home when it was too dark to play any more.
@BholanathDutta Sure! Answer is 7, and the proof is shown already, but can you name the Mathematical Property that is used in the proof to find the solution?
@CaryKelly11 And you think the egg cooked in cold oil looks/tastes better? Well, each to their own personal preference, right? Me? I want my egg yoke solid and the edges of the white dark brown and crispy.
@LilithDatura@washghost1 Never, ever, use tap water! Distilled water hurts when I used it. Use saline solution to do this! You can mix it yourself from distilled water and salt, look up the mixture. It does clean out sinuses. The Netie pot is made for it.
@RealTraderJill PEMDAS really should be taught as P, E, MorD, AorS from left to right. Or perhaps, PEMA from left to right where the M is taught as "Multiplicative Thinking" and the A is taught as "Additive Thinking."
@RealTraderJill Yes, you're correct, but people think they are following PEMDAS and still getting it wrong. A BIG mistake that educators make (and I had to really pound this into College Students) is not teaching that M and D are the same level and are done from left to right (same with A&S).
@PeriklesGREAT Oh, my! I haven't even thought about "Kill the Man" since I was 12. Got my first concussion from playing that on the school playground. :)
@willNYYanks@Sadie_NC Really? From my neck of the woods, a small *flowing* stream is a creek, pronounced crick if you're really country :), or if it's even smaller it's a run. They often feed into ponds or small lakes, but the key is a creek has to be flowing.
@Sadie_NC That's a pond, especially if it's man made. A bigger body of water like that can be a lake or a reservoir, but one that size is a pond. If you're a real estate agent you might call it a lake, but that's just hype to raise the price. Al/NW FL, USA
@QuantumAlteredX Yes, but if you watch the whole cartoon, not just this clip, you'll see that Betty fights him off. She has help from (depending on the version, I think) Koko the Clown or a Lion Tamer, but fight him off she does! Knocks his block off, IIRC.
