Kudos to the whole TCD2 team! 👏 Usually, mahirap i-beat ang first season, but 15 episodes in and I can already say na mas bet ko ang TCD2. Mas excited ako this season, and I enjoyed the first 15 episodes so much that I honestly don’t mind waiting until Aug 14 for the next half. Ganun siya kaganda for me. I can rewatch these episodes every day until then and I’d still enjoy them. 😂

At the same time, 15 episodes pa lang and ramdam ko na that 30 episodes won’t be enough for TCD2. Ang dami ko pang gustong makita sa story and sa characters that I’m already wishing na sana 60 episodes na lang ’to. 😭 Hindi pa nga natin napapanood yung buong season, pero parang ayoko na agad matapos. So, Season 3 is waving na ba? 👀

Also, kudos to Gelo because ang laki ng improvement ng acting niya from last season. Mas natural na siya ngayon while still maintaining the consistency of Daniel’s accent. And his Korean lines improved so much, especially the tone and delivery. As a K-drama fan na familiar na rin sa ilang Korean words and phrases, may moments na kahit hindi ako nakatingin sa subtitles, naiintindihan ko yung sinasabi niya. The way he delivers his Korean lines now is so convincing na maniniwala ka talagang Korean si Daniel Jeon.

And Alexa Ilacad, new romcom princess na ba? 👑 Whenever I think of Alexa, dramatic actress talaga agad ang pumapasok sa isip ko. But TCD1 already made me realize how good she is at romcom, and TCD2 just proves it even more.

Ang natural ng comedy niya. Hindi cringey or pilit yung pagiging kalog at funny ni Hannah, and Alexa’s comedic timing is SO GOOD. But what I also love is how naturally she shifts from Hannah’s usual kalog energy to a more serious tone when the scene calls for it. Walang pilit sa transition and hindi rin nawawala yung character. She knows when to play up the comedy and when to pull it back, and ang galing lang ng execution niya.

And of course, Direk Ted. I really love how you execute the scenes. I don’t usually pay much attention to who directed the shows I watch, but TCD made me appreciate the person behind the camera too. Wala pa akong naging favorite director before, but I guess I have one now. 😂👏

We’re only halfway through TCD2 and I’m already this invested. Busog na busog ako sa first 15 episodes, willing akong maghintay until Aug 14, and willing akong mag-rewatch every day hanggang dumating yung next 15. Ganun ko siya na-enjoy.

Pero seriously, 30 episodes lang talaga? 😭 Sana 60 episodes na lang.

Or Season 3? 👀😂

TCD2 Pt. 1 showed exactly why GeLex is stands out as pairing. sobrang refreshing, natural, and so easy to fall in love with. kung yung first season made us fall for them, this season just made us stay and love them even more.

Gelo really improved so much (aside sa mas pumogi pa siya lalo dito) yung bawat bitaw ng lines niya and even his pakilig antics hit so much harder this time. idk why pero mas lumakas pa lalo yung chemistry niya with Alexa sa true lang. and of course, hands down for learning the Korean language👏🏻 every episode ata may Korean lines siya and he delivered them so well yung alam mong inaral niya talaga. all that while juggling BGYO promos and activities just shows his discipline, dedication, and yung eagerness niya for this project. nakaka-proud lang talaga si COO-ppa natin!

As always, Alexa did sooo good. head-turner talaga siya in every scene. wala na akong masyadong masabi because the fact that she was doing all this while also having Miss Behave says a lot. she’s already a veteran who pours her heart into every role, regardless ano mang format or character she’s playing.

I knoww this is just part 1, but congratulations na po agad, Sir @TheodoreBoborol ! this was such a well-made sequel. everything GeLex fans could’ve asked for was here especially that rooftop scene (Episode 8 Steal The One at exactly 1:54 mga isang linggong amats ko na ‘to)😫 the new characters were played really well, and the plot never felt pilit, something that you’ll really look forward to after the first one.

Can’t wait for all the pasabogs sa part 2! Congrats @BGYO_Gelo and Alexa! i’m sure mas marami na namang mahahatak and will fall in love with you two for this new season💙
