A warm and cordial welcome today in Athens by my counterpart, the Minister of National Defence of Greece, Mr. @NikosDendias.

We jointly assessed the constructive and highly positive momentum of our bilateral relations in security and defence, and shared a common interest in further strengthening practical cooperation within NATO and in support of regional stability.

Fully committed to deepening our cooperation also in the field of cyber security, as well as enhancing coordination and mutual assistance in responding to potential civil emergency situations during the summer season.

At the NATO Defense Ministers’ Meeting in Brussels, we reaffirmed our commitment to unity, collective defense, and enhanced readiness across the Alliance.

Honored to meet with @ElbridgeColby at the Pentagon and exchange perspectives on the strategic challenges shaping the Euro-Atlantic security landscape.

The partnership between Albania and the United States is grounded in shared values, mutual trust, and a common commitment to peace, stability, and collective defense. In an increasingly complex security environment, close coordination among Allies remains essential to safeguarding our shared interests and strengthening transatlantic security.

Albania greatly values the United States’ enduring leadership and support and remains firmly committed to its responsibilities as a trusted NATO Ally, contributing to a stronger, more secure, and more resilient Alliance.

Protestuesit janë të lirë të protestojnë paqësisht për çfarë të duan, si të duan e deri kur të duan, por pa dashur t’ju bëj moral nuk kam se si mos t’u them:

1. Kjo protestë nuk ka më asnjë lidhje me Sazanin a me Zvërnecin, sepse i gjithë dokumentacioni i procesit dhe e gjithë qasja e dokumentuar qeverisë, tregojnë qartë që qeveria është në lartësinë e interesit publik e të standarteve dhe praktikave më të mira ndërkombëtare.

2. Kjo protestë po godet imazhin e Shqipërisë dhe sezonin turistik, duke ushqyer perceptimin negativ e të pavërtetë të një vendi jomiqësor ndaj mjedisit, jomikpritës për investimet e huaja dhe te pasigurtë për turistët. Anullimet e rezervimeve të hoteleve dhe bllokimet e rrugëve paralajmërojnë një sezon jo pozitiv ekonomikisht, për shumë e shumë familje e njerëz që kanë lidhje direkte apo indirekte me zinxhirin e vlerës së industrisë së turizmit.

3. Kjo protestë që arrin e degradon në një turmë të drejtuar nga mendje të liga dhe duar të këqia drejt rrugës së aeroportit, duke bllokuar natën në rrugë mijëra njerëz në lëvizjen e tyre të lirë, ka brenda saj pikërisht atë të keqen e madhe të ekstremizmit që frymëzon bullizimin online dhe prishjen me pahir të ritmit të jetës së shumicës.

4. Keqardhje për të rejat e të rinjtë e zhgënjyer nga marshimi qorrazi drejt Rinasit me shijen e lirisë e të pavarësisë së tyre dhe në emër të një revolucioni imagjinar, derisa e kuptuan edhe vetë se çfarë budallallëku kishin bërë duke i shkuar mbrapa skuthave të infiltruar nga forcat destruktive, brenda a jashtë, të cilat po bëjnë çmos për ta dëmtuar sa më shumë Shqipërinë. Uroj që të zgjohen sa më parë nga ky jerm dhe të shkëputen një orë e më parë nga mendjet e liga dhe duart e këqia që tanimë e kanë marrë në kontroll protestën.

5. Kjo protestë ka ekzaltuar edhe shumë personazhe me një emër të dëgjuar në mexhelisin e jetës publike. Me mendjet e tyre të cekëta ata i janë bashkuar asaj me mënyra të ndryshme, në bulevard apo në kanalet sociale e mediatike, me idenë se deti u bë kos, qeveria po mbytet, një orë e re erdhi për lugët në brezat e tyre.

Por nëse ka përfitues të vërtetë nga kjo protestë, ata janë vetëm dy:

Qeveria Shqiptare, e cila do të nxjerrë patjetër mësimet që i duhen nga pjesa e çiltër e protestës, duke adresuar si duhet shqetësimet legjitime të asaj pjese dhe Partia Socialiste, e cila kur të shpërndahet mjegulla do t’i zhgënjejë rëndë të gjithë kundërshtarët e saj, duke u shfaqur më e madhe dhe më e fortë në qendër të skenës politike të Shqipërisë🇦🇱😍🌹🦅🇪🇺

Today in #Brussels, I met with @DepSecGenNATO Radmila Šekerinska to discuss current security challenges and Albania’s growing role within the Alliance. Our country continues to contribute with dedication to collective defense, consolidating its role as a pillar of stability and a reference point for security in the region.

The support of our Allies remains essential in strengthening our defense capabilities and enhancing operational readiness.

During our meeting, we also underlined the importance of our joint efforts toward the organization of the historic NATO Summit in Tirana in 2027 — a defining moment for Albania’s role and contribution within the Alliance.

📍 Mons, Belgium — At @SHAPE_NATO, I had a very productive meeting with Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Alexus G. Grynkewich.

We exchanged views on the evolving security environment and the challenges facing the Alliance, while reaffirming Albania’s strong commitment to Euro-Atlantic security and collective defense.

I also highlighted Albania’s strategic investments, including the Porto Romano Naval Base and Corridor VIII mobility projects, which will further strengthen NATO readiness, interoperability, and operational mobility across the region.

Por duke qenë se që të dyja dolën sot, kur Kuvendi me plot të drejtë refuzoi heqjen e lirisë së një deputeteje në mungesë të plotë të kushteve për ta ndërmarrë një hap të tillë ekstrem dhe, njëkohësisht, duke qenë se Shoqata e Molotovarëve të Tiranës ka filluar të flasë edhe në emër të Gjermanisë, përfitoj nga rasti të theksoj:

• Kjo shumicë qeverisëse e ka mendjen të ndarë dhe busullën të palëvizshme: Shqipëria 2030 në Bashkimin Europian🇦🇱🦅🇪🇺

• Reforma në Drejtësi nuk kthehet mbrapa, pavarësia e gjyqësorit nuk preket dhe mbështetja për SPAK-un mbetet e palëkundur.

• Lufta reale kundër korrupsionit vazhdon, më këmbëngulëse se kurrë, siç e tregon qartë edhe pasqyra objektive e përditësuar e Komisionit Europian.

• Belinda Balluku nuk akuzohet për korrupsion dhe hetimi i çështjes duhet të vazhdojë, i patrazuar as nga pengimi as nga yshtja e SPAK-ut, prej faktorësh jashtë kufijve të pushtetit të pavarur gjyqësor.

• Shumica qeverisëse, bëri sot pa asnjë diskutim atë që do të bënte çdo parlament demokratik i Europës, ku kalimi i kërkesave të prokurorisë jo për arrestin pa gjyq të një deputeti si kjo kërkesa e sotme, po për të filluar apo jo hetimet, nuk është askund si kalimi pa asnjë lloj kontrolli i kufijve në zonën Shengen. Ai është një proces serioz, i bazuar në norma kushtetuese e ligjore, të cilat nuk janë as karta bianka, as dyer të mbyllura për prokurorinë.

Sot ne i kemi respektuar plotësisht ato norma dhe kush pretendon të kundërtën, ka të drejtën e vet të padiskutueshme, po s’ka argumenta të mjaftueshëm për ta fituar debatin mbi ekzistencën ose jo të kufirit mes pushteteve të pavarur kushtetues, të cilin parlamenti i Shqipërisë e mbylli sot duke treguar se dinjiteti i parlamentarëve nuk është material për eksperimente socio-politike, të cilat e bëjnë kurën më të rrezikshme se sa sëmundja që duhet të luftojë!

It’s high time to cut the rope and go straight to the point.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a terrorist organization and it must be treated as such. Not only through sanctions against the Khomeinist Republic, but by officially calling it by its true name and listing it among terrorist organizations, as the United States and Canada have already done.

Not only because we stand firm with Israel and with the peace-seeking brotherly Arab countries.
Not only because we support the United States in militarily supporting Israel today under the leadership of President Donald Trump.
Not only because the European Union, through President Ursula von der Leyen, has once again underlined today the murderous nature of the Tehran regime.

But first and foremost, on a day like this, when acts, not just words, are required, in honoring the endless innocent victims of the bloody Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Albania has faced firsthand the barbaric face of the Tehran regime through its cyber aggressions against our country. For us, this is not abstract geopolitics. It is national security, moral and legal clarity.

Albania will act accordingly. We will call the Revolutionary Guard what it is and list it among terrorist organizations, and we call upon our European friends to do the same.

We fully endorse every decisive effort to prevent once and for all the murderers in Tehran from acquiring nuclear or any other military capacity to harm Israel or any other peace-loving nation in the Middle East.

Terrorism must be named. And once named, it must be stopped.
