life is hard already. please, choose someone who chooses you; not just in words, but in actions. someone who's there for you, stays consistent, and makes you feel wanted; not just when they feel like, but every day.
The best thing i did for myself was to decenter sex from my life. I love it like mad but wouldn’t chase or go out of my way to have it, if it comes fine, if it doesn’t then that’s fine too.
Stop calling it ‘love’ when it’s really just convenience with good chemistry. Real love shows up when it’s inconvenient…when you’re tired, when you’re broke, when the feelings have gone quiet and all that’s left is the choice. Anybody can love you on a good day.
The one who stays consistent on the boring days, the slow days, the days nothing exciting is happening. That is who you build with. Stop chasing excitement. Start chasing consistency.
Be guided.
My friend sends his children’s nanny's kids to his children's school and he pays the fees. The fee is not cheap. The kids all play together.
They won't understand what is happening until they are big.
In his simple logic, the person looking after your kids deserve to have her kids looked after. Your children's lives are in her hands and she would raise them as her own.

The woman I’m dating stayed over one night.
The next morning, she got out of bed, stepped onto my bedroom floor, and let out this little yelp.
“Ow… your floor is freezing cold.”
Then she laughed and tiptoed all the way to the bathroom to brush her teeth.
I just stood there watching her.
I didn’t say anything.
But I remembered it.
The following week, I bought a soft little rug and placed it on her side of the bed.
Right where she always gets up.
A few days later, she stayed over again.

The smartest thing you can do while you're young is: live below your means.
Act BROKE.
Delete food delivery apps.
Drive a modest car.
Live in a cheap apartment.
Keep your wardrobe simple.
Ignore the pressure to impress.
Let your money make noise, not your lifestyle.
Invest, invest, invest.
Build the foundation first. The harvest will speak for itself.
Someone once told me, “When a man loses interest, he’ll make it seem like he still likes you, but he’ll stop giving you as much time as before.
He’ll say things are going wrong in his life without ever explaining what, and then slowly pull away until you eventually leave first.
Is this true ?
