every bar on Reasonable Doubt is just like an insane thought for a 26 year old to have, album has been getting glazed for 30 years and still might be underrated
if you only listen to the songs that you like on an album then you’re missing out on the joy of a track you hated at first becoming your favorite 6 months later
@howsondersome my original post says the 25 year old DJ is Gen Z so where was I wrong, you replied upset about the defining years of a generation just to agree with me
@howsondersome of course and it’s great that 2010s music has staying power, no generation has ownership over any era, and it’s important to party to music older people made during your childhood when you get old enough to go out, this was a joke but you can’t joke on this hellsite anymore lmao
@FatLennyLJS millennial twentysomethings were making and partying to 2010s music when zoomers were in middle school, it’s not the same, like how I grew up with ‘90s music but still understand that’s Gen X’s cultural output
@morbidork I’m aware and Family Matters is his best rapping of the decade outside of this album but there’s something enjoyable about how much less stressed and anxious he sounds on Iceman disses despite being similarly vindictive
@CorporateDo yes but that’s with main characters of the day on social media where we go into it knowing it’s meaningless and ephemeral, it used to happen with people producing actual art
there’s something kind of tragically beautiful about a group of people trying to make it together and everyone blows up independently and has their own motion and money and then none of them are ever really close friends again because it’s like well mission accomplished at least
