This is part of the ethos of AEW when it started btw. That if you get over with our audience we aren’t going to punish the talent and we will adapt. Thank god for a big time promotion where that can happen. It’s why I think a guy like LA Knight would be white hot in AEW

LA Knight says that he came up with his 'Unchosen' shirt design out of anger after the clip of him from WWE Unreal went viral:

"I had a completely different shirt that was coming out, and that clip you were talking about, a week before the shirt was coming out. I was like 'we're gonna change this shit right now'. Just make it Unchosen and then put 'My Way' on the back, because that's how I do things, whether I'm chosen or not, why? Becuase the people chose me.

"Was it the best selling shirt of all time? Probably not, but it was just me, in rage, just going 'we're gonna do this my way'.

"So thank you for choosing me, that's all I'm saying."
