Man, him saying it’s his fault for speaking out is so sad—and it’s proving the point. People say they want you to speak out about mental health, and then this player gets constantly attacked and harassed for doing it. Then people side with the asshole who attacked him?

Before criticizing Jarren Duran, think about this: if your friend or family member was at the point of holding a gun to their head… you’d want them to speak out, right? If so, you can't attack Duran here.

And I’m so tired of people acting like MLB players are just robots or “super people” because they make millions playing a game. That’s not reality. Duran sacrificed his whole childhood for baseball, grinding nonstop. He made it to the minors and spent years getting paid basically nothing, still grinding every single day. Then he finally becomes good enough to make it to the big leagues… and this is how people treat him?

You’re really going to make someone regret opening up and being honest about what they’re going through? That’s exactly why people stay silent, and lives are taken everyday.

At the end of the day, they’re still human beings. Money doesn’t erase pressure, pain, or mental health struggles. People need to stop acting like it does. If you are attack Duran, I want you to ask yourself this...what if he was your brother..would u still act like that?
