Being right never felt so horrid. Before the election, I wrote, “How Trump Won.” And on Election night, I waited for the returns to make a fool of me. Instead, the returns made the fool a President. https://t.co/JgYEFzexPD
@johnpavlovitz Plus a lot of Gen Z coming of age and voting for the first time. My son and his friends included. I can’t really understand this. How many ballots got rejected and why?
@D__Lav My family voted early for Democrats (and Democracy) in North Carolina. My county will vote for Democrats but the voting districts are gerrymandered so our representatives are usually republican. (Edward the Republican is pro Ukraine however). I hope the state can reject trump. 🤞
@AnnaOdesitka We’re not just fighting against Trump. It’s a whole low mentality pushed by right wing media and a lot of religious conservatives who seem to want to bring back misogyny, racism, and some fake showy religiousity.
Large groups reinforce “community” behavior.
Not unlike Russia.
@TrekkiesforPete Doing my part to turn North Carolina blue. I’m used to disappointment but we did it in 2008. Maybe today. I know the disaster hit areas got really pissed off with opportunistic MAGA lies to sow chaos with FEMA and relief efforts.
@lumpenspace@cammakingminds@IsabellaMDeLuca Putin wants trump to win. He made a tongue and cheek comment about endorsing Kamala and his whole propaganda network could barely keep a straight face. All of the Russian bot nets and agents are working hard for trump so he can do Putin’s bidding again.
@ProjectLincoln The birther movement and his first speech about Mexicans sealed the deal. My BS meter went on like a fire alarm.
I’m shocked how many people continue to fall for it.
The laws of karma dictate that Trump must answer for all of his lies, crimes, and petty acts to harm others.
The only way Trump can “make America great again,” is if he goes to prison for his crimes. Future presidents will think twice before breaking the law.
@TeamTrump The laws of karma dictate that Trump must answer for all of his lies, crimes, and petty acts to harm others.
It will be great for America if he goes to prison for his crimes. Future presidents will think twice before breaking the law.
Important reminder for North Carolina voters who haven't yet put mail-in ballots in the mail: DONT!
NC no longer allows ballots to arrive after the election. You'll need to deliver it to your county elections office (or go vote in person) tomorrow #ncpol https://t.co/pHxKnYQlof
