What did we do to deserve this??

We have been complaining about noise pollution in Yaba/Makoko area from Churches, Night vigils for over 2 years.
Letters have been written, noise recording have been uploaded countless times, still no response.

REDUCE OVERHEADS IN GOVERNMENT:

CONVOY OF CARS BY THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS of AGENCIES na ALARMING SITUATION.

There was a circular that was signed by former SGF Anyim Pius Anyim that defines the roles of Head of Agencies and parastatals / Chairmen and Boars members convoys.

- this policy was ignored by the Chief Executive Officers then and now.

2: Head of Agencies with nomenclatures such as Managing Director/ Director General/ Executive Secretary/ Chief Executive Officer & Vice Chairman ARE NOT ENTITLED TO CONVOY OF VEHICLES.

3: they have a right to only one vehicle with a policeman or DSS as security detail. They can have a backup vehicle parked in the office.

4: They have no right to multiple security details from the Civil defence, police and DSS.

5: They must choose their protocol officers from the agencies pool staffs not an OUTSIDER.

6: A non executive Board Chairman and members are not ENTITLED to have a permanent vehicles or security details paid from treasury.

7: That agency will provide them with vehicles when they have an official assignments. Pool vehicles or hired vehicles. It is not a PERMANENT JOB like the Chief Executive Officer.

8: The chairman and board members can hire a security detail on their own. Paid from their personal pockets.

9: A minister except FCTA have one pilot car, Minister’s car, backup vehicle and security hilux car for his security details.

10: a Minister can be accompanied by media/press bus, his aides & Directors when attending official events outside the Ministry’s headquarters.

11: Our Chief Executives of Govt agencies should understand that they are not the President or a Minister

12: SPECIAL ADVISERS are like Ministers of States but they are entitled to only ONE SECURITY DETAIL and no CONVOY OF VEHICLES.

13: Senior Special Assistants/ Special Assistants ARE NOT ENTITLED to any security details except you are going for an assignment that requires Security protection. That would be temporary requests for certain days. They are entitled to office POOL Vehicles and not a permanent vehicles.

14: @SGFAkume should guide Ministers/ Chief Executive Officers/ Special Advisers/ SSA/SA as per this policy. Organize a retreat for them.

15: it is shocking to see an agency Chief Executive Officers with a large convoy of vehicles. Let us stop this unnecessary expenditure and PROFLIGACY.

16: The Head of Civil Service of the Federation and the Permanent Secretaries should guide political appointees with rules and regulations. Be bold to guide them.

17: exceptions to the rule are CEO NNPCL, head of Security agencies and CBN Governor. @NGRPresident @femigbaja @officialSKSM @officialABAT
