I’d love if they covered the UKs big 1st night out in June like a Royal wedding. I want around-the-clock coverage, interviews with drunk people, panel discussions, a fashion expert commenting on what people are wearing, helicopter shots of streets filled with people.

Here we are, Day 2 of trying to get back to Ireland. This time via Belfast. A night in a hotel was had courtesy of @british_airways and now we wait for our flight...which is already delayed 40 mins so I dont think any of us will believe it's happening til we're on the plane

This last minute stoppage of travel from the UK to Ireland was a genius idea. Now as well as this queue we have some lovely news that the @AerLingus flight was WAY overbooked by @britishairways so a plane's worth of Irish people are left in #Heathrow unable to get home. Hohoho

*Update* @British_Airways have sourced an alternative aircraft and crew for us all. They say the holdup was them having to negotiate with the Irish gov to ensure we could land. Now checking in. 🤞🏼 what a shitshow this evening has been

@AineDonegan7 No, sadly I didnt make it onto the flight. Too many people for the one aircraft. About 100 of us holed up in a (very nice) airport hotel for the night before they fly us to Belfast at 10am tomorrow on a one off service. Then ground transport to Dublin 🥴
