The Bible explains what this video can’t. People used to be smarter than us, especially before the flood. They weren’t cave men. They could do things we can’t do today. https://t.co/AO3bP7Lqg6
Too many women believe the only “kind” way to state a belief is to start their sentence with “I feel like…” and end it with “but I don’t know.” No. Stand firm on what you know is true and let people feel about that what they will.
I'm 36. This is my honest advice for people in their 20s:
1. Make decisions your future self will thank you for, not resent you for.
2. Somebody you know and love is going to die within the next 10 years. It could even be you. So live accordingly.
Have you ever wondered why the world is full of box-shaped buildings with square windows, plain walls, and no ornamentation?
Well, it's because of this house in Austria.
It may look ordinary, but that's the point. It's actually 112 years old...
The number of shares and likes is sadder than the false statement itself. This is why we need a recovery of biblical theology and discipleship. When you don’t have a solid foundation you get sucked into junk like this.
“The Church is a family.. not a corporation.” I think we in the West would do really well to bring this to mind... Corporations desire to be loved by the world and are driven by numbers. A family is concerned with the well being of its members and share one another’s burdens..
So many professing believers want the world to like them. As someone who was in the world for 26 years, let me tell you, they really don’t like you. You’re a useful idiot to them.
“I’m not like a regular Christian, I’m a cool Christian.”
Knock it off and serve your King.
Up later than normal for me on a Saturday night, but just now having a chance to put down a few thoughts re: why evangelicalism has a habit of producing leaders who flame out. A few ideas:
this is just a random tweet to say how blessed I consider myself to have a big brother that I adore. He’s my longest friend & the most steady human I know. I wish everyone could know him like I do..
“...so will be the coming of the Son of man.” // my favorite and most needed reminder... our King Jesus is coming back for us. Like thunder and lightning. With power and great glory. The day is coming. He is coming. Maranatha.
