Spent the morning with some great AP staff today, and one key takeaway for mainstream staff: don’t ‘threaten kids with AP’ if they don’t behave. It creates a negative impression that good APs have to work hard to undo when the kid arrives. These are places of intensive care, not prisons. Done right, they turn around, even save, lives.
Last night one of our Y11 students Kenzy helped to serve Chicken Tikka Masala and Rice, followed by Apple Crumble & Custard to the service users of Feed Up Warm Up in Hitchin. Well done Kenzy and the rest our Catering students who all helped prepare the food. #FUWU
