3/30- 4/3: Online Learning Begins
Dear parents, teachers, librarians, and stuck-at-home-students:
Thursday morning a group of authors are doing a storytime over on Instagram Live. Each of us will read a picture books and take questions. I'm reading Last Stop on Market Street. Please join us! And spread the word!
Students are researching illusions and hoaxes along with the techniques used to create them! They are then presenting their ideas through Google Slides!
Students generated their own research questions and searched for information regarding ways to boost self-esteem. They then created infographics through Canva! #TechTuesday@canva
It takes guts to face your fears. Don't miss @goraina's newest graphic memoir, GUTS! (Now available) ✨📚😊 Read a sneak peek here ➡ https://t.co/XyAQs1zdT6 @Scholastic
Due to severe weather impact and staff inability to report to work, Alief ISD schools & offices will be closed on Friday, September 20. For the latest updates, please visit the Alief ISD website, Twitter or Facebook.
It may be flooding outside, but we’re still learning in here! Students use Padlet to share quotes about characterization and internal/external conflicts from “Thank You, M’am”! @padlet
