KS3 students visited Darlington Hippodrome yesterday to see The Woman in Black. From jump-out moments to eerie atmosphere, the production brought Gothic horror vividly to life and will be a fantastic support when learning about the Gothic genre in their English lessons.

Yesterday, Mr Skerry delivered an assembly to remember and honour those who fought for our freedoms. Today, students and staff observed a two-minute silence. Commencing by the playing of The Last Post and concluding with the Reveille, played beautifully by Poppy in Year 10.

A huge well done to Lewis H in 7 Campbell, who has successfully entered the BBC 500 Words competition! Lewis has worked incredibly hard on his story and is determined to make it all the way to Buckingham Palace — one of the top prizes in the competition! 👑
