Today, I celebrate the life of Chief Mrs. Eunice Uzor-Kalu. A mother whose passion for humanity is not in doubt.
I pray that her new age brings sound health and for God's blessings to continue to be with her.
May she continue to live according to the goodness and mercy of God.

As part of our activities to mark 27 years of uninterrupted democracy, we gathered in the presence of the Almighty God in gratitude and reflection for how far we have come as a nation.
Twenty-seven years ago, Nigeria embarked on a democratic journey marked by both progress and challenges. We have faced economic pressures, security concerns, social tensions, and political contests. Yet, through it all, our democracy has endured, a proof to the resilience of the Nigerian spirit.
As lawmakers, we recognize that democracy is not defined by elections alone. Its true value lies in its ability to improve lives, expand opportunities, protect freedoms, and foster national unity. This is why the National Assembly remains committed to enacting laws that drive economic growth, promote social justice, strengthen security, advance education and innovation, and support sustainable development.
As we celebrate this milestone, let us renew our commitment to building a Nigeria where institutions work effectively, opportunities are accessible to all, and every citizen can realize their God-given potential. The House of Representatives will continue to work with all arms and levels of government to build a more stable, prosperous, and inclusive nation.
The journey continues, and so does our faith. With unity, determination, and hope, Nigeria’s best days remain ahead of us.
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Federal Government has rolled out the National Single Window, a digital platform that enables one-time document submission, reduces delays, and improves transparency in trade processes.
The system is expected to boost efficiency for businesses in Nigeria, speed up approvals, and cut port bottlenecks, while working alongside upgrades at Apapa Port and Tin Can Island Port.
The initiative is backed by key agencies, including the Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigerian Ports Authority, and Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, with phased implementation set to begin on March 27.
The current situation in Abia State, particularly in Aba, requires an update.
Having received over 1.6 trillion, one would expect tangible improvements.
However, the effects of this substantial funding are not evident in our surroundings or the lives of the citizens.
