I once read that grief was like the ocean because sometimes the water is calm and other times it can be overwhelming, and honestly I couldn’t agree more.
They say time heals and I have also said the same phrase to others but right now that sounds impossible to me. Bc grief is so difficult that shit comes in waves one day you’re fine and the other you’re a complete mess.
Life has been extra difficult lately and honestly I don’t even know how I have been able to cope and “pull through”. Emotionally drained but super blessed to have my momma by my side.
My family and I had it rough towards the end of the year and my sister couldn’t be with us because we didn’t want her family to get sick. Times were dark for me as I saw my parents health decline but there is always light at then end of the tunnel...
I get to finally hug and see my sister and nephew tmr. It’s been almost two years that I haven’t been able to hug them and let me just tell you that emotionally I am a hot mess.
