#Smokescreen, what a gem! Crime drama with witty British humor starring the great #PeterVaughan (cannot believe he is the same actor playing "Tom" in #stradogs Brilliant movie!

#devils series is unfortunate, the context could be interesting but execution sloppy, the plot confuse goes from brexit to bitcoin.
#industry is much better, also designed for younger public but it is more consistent, believable. The players party and f... more

#irmavep what a series. Imagine HBO and French movie culture.

Alicia Vikander is sinuous and sensual. Devon Ross is pure elfy beauty. The cast is supreme, Lars Edinger is wild. It is original and different.
It a gem for the cinephile. Episode 9 for example : Goblins Suspiria

#diaryofaspy 2022

Good movie. Keep an eye for director Adam Christian Clark.

Grazie #draghi, per il breve ma serio periodo, nonostante la composizione del governo.

Conoscendo Salvini, è diffile che vorrà farsi scappare l'occasione di dimostrare di essere più coglione di Conte.

What a good movie. Boston underbelly, bank robbers, snitches and hitman. Plot is cool, photography too. Great casting.

#atlanta season 3, What a grandiose little series. Great actors, #paperboy goes to Europe, budget is large, more political. Great actors. As good as it can be.

If you miss #thewire check new HBO #WeOwnThisCity produced by George Pelecanos and David Simon.

[MarcM @EspatriatiI]

Another excellent HBO Baltimore cops / crime drama. The origin was maybe the innovative "Homicide: life on the streets", then the "Corner" (a junkie' perspective" short series half doc). After it come the magnificent "The Wire". #WeOwnThisCity

#SlowHorses series is good. I adore Mick Herron subtle and ironic spy saga, post Brexit tradecraft. I think it gets better after the third episode. Gary Oldman farts as Jackson Lamb but maybe not fat as I image he should be. Let me know

#aviolentman Interesting jail movie. Black and white, introspective yet with sudden quick ultra violence.

#Dogs (Câini) 2016. I recently enjoyed very much this thriller in Romania rural borderland. It's rough and dry. Unusually for Romanian movie it has also a clear and cruel ending. Find subtitles and watch it.

[MarcM @EspatriatiI]

#encounter 2021 not really a sci-film maybe more psychological thriller. Different and watchable.
Michael Pearce is an experienced director. A movie for our #covid times

#azor 2021 Davvero un gran film: denaro, potere, ai tempi della dittatura Videla in Argentina. Attori superbi. Da vedere

#Umbre saga gangster rumena e uno spaccato del paese.
Grandi attori, molto orginale.
Relu il protagonista, un fixer indimenticabile.
A mio avviso tra le migliori. Peccato che ho bisogno dei sottotitoli. HBO raramente delude.
