no one is more whimsical and optimistic than the people who have had to fight and claw their way out of dark places and learn to trust life enough to be silly and joyful.
I hope I don't meet another year like 2026. A year that tested my faith, broke me in places I didn't know could break, gave me hope, took it away, and somehow taught me to keep going. I’ve lost, learned, loved, prayed, cried and grown. And honestly, that’s enough😔
At some point, you have to let yourself be witnessed - in the work, in the mistakes, in the becoming. You have to survive being wrong without disappearing. You have to let people ask you the difficult questions and resist the instinct to run when the answers embarrass you.
