My son did this while I was running. I don’t think a better representation of who I am exists. The scary thing is, I think it’s also who he is. #minime#visionboard https://t.co/8iVyoJZ0RB
I think it’s perfectly acceptable to have a PTSD reaction to #Encanto. My kid has been playing “under the surface” on loop and it takes all I have to not cry and ruin it for him.

So just as the world gets set to start dressing again, I’ve finally given up and started wearing pj bottoms and a blouse. It’s a sad day. My shoes are judging me... #needtogoout
The experiment is finite give that UI ends in September and may have a double benefit of allowing people to secure childcare during the transition. The money is already allocated...
If UI is hurting jobs recovery, could we allow people to continue to receive it even if they take a job as a test of universal basic income? I get opposition based on “fairness” to people who are working and won’t get it but since when was life fair? 🤷🏾♀️
@semil I don’t know if it’s a game over thing. But how you present yourself has an impact, and you should be mindful of that even when the setting is virtual. Swap shoe choice with background choice and it’s the same idea.

That which has been, doesn’t mean that’s what should be. Speaking up for positive change isn’t a blight on civil society, it is the hallmark of it. #Truth#Change
@NikhilBasavappa@AllisonReichel In Meet the Fockers Robert De Niro says choosing green is a sign of intelligence. Plus think of the car wash savings...
@MicaelaLeonarte@causalinf If trying to limit the thought process to academics, you really can’t go wrong either way. Given these options, my choice would actually be based on environment and lifestyle since those personal impact differences are easily observable & quantifiable.
@NikhilBasavappa People think I’m ultra positive. For me it’s part a belief in “positivity begets positivity” and part “fake it til you make it” overcompensation.
