No bail granted. She will pass the night again at the CID. And it is still not clear as to what charges or offences my client, Dr Sylvia Blyden is being investigated for by d police. This omission amounts to a violaton of the Luanda Guidelines to which Sierra Leone is a signatory
As the leading human rights lawyer representing Dr Sylvia Blyden, I can confirm that she will spend the night at CID detention centre as the police have denied granting her bail. She is however in high spirit and asked for all to keep praying for the peace of Mama Salone.
Hon Chief Justice, Notwithstanding your zest to dealing with d Coronavirus, it is a travesty of justice to give directive to d police to hold serious offenders without bail when our constitution stipulates concise timelines beyond which detention of suspects can b unacceptable.
Limiting fundamental human rights indefinitely is anathematic to the rule of law and section 29 of our constitution. I urge the EOC to reverse its decision and set out clear time lines as they continue to restrict fundamental human rights and freedoms over the Coronavirus.
Based on the accusations and counter-accusations of *"corruption"* between the Clerk of Parliament and the SLPP Hon.Tawa Conteh on 98.1 FM this morning, I urgently call on the ACC to open a proprio mutu investigations to ascertain the facts.
I did expose today d biggest student corruption racketeering scam at FBC.

It is ironical that Pa Momoh Fofanah Esq, Reebok Human Rights winner is the very reason for 4 journalists being jailed today in Sierra Leone. #
