I have read posts from Californians that people from other states should stay out of the conversation. I understand that position since we know best for where we live. But, at the Federal level, all states are affected by representation in D.C. potentially impacting them where they live. For this reason there should be an audit. I read somewhere that if this doesn't happen there are provisions in place in D.C. to deny seating of a California elected representative.
I am enjoying this open dialog. I am republican but not MAGA. I agree with you AGAIN. :>). I have three children in their 30's and things are difficult, change is needed. I am focused on all this fraud, back room deals, pontificating for the cameras. On BOTH sides. It's frustrating. I will follow you and maybe we can keep things cool. I still like my bobblehead idea. JK ... sorta. Even gave the CA Grizzly a tshirt to match you handle.
Yes I am in CA. Been here 65 years. You are correct on all counts. The places you reference have been mostly the same as far back as I can remember and I think we can agree that they should be increased. I have felt the same challenges getting to work, finding a location, etc on voting day. My take is that maybe, just maybe, times have changed and with the way we live today we could, if we tried, be creative. Find a way to remove conspiracy, rebuild trust, and make it honorable as well as fun. Create an incentive to be timely with community. Trying to cast off party lines here.
Taking your comment seriously I agree. I’m Gen Jones. We should address that wth something as simple as “workplace voting” as an example. Establish secure and governed drop boxes where people actually have to be that keeps them from in person voting. Let’s be innovative and transparent. Heck, put voting booths at a Dodger, Giants, and Padres bobble heads night. Cast a vote get a bobble head. Crazy innovative thinking is needed.
@imPenny2x Don't know what kind of reader you are. I find that in gathering insight into the Alter you should read a book titled "Bezalel: Redeeming a Renegade Creation" and also there is a fine line between reading a translation vs. reading an interpretation. Interpretation takes into account context. If you want a good example read "The Lost World of Genesis 1".
@USTreasury@POTUS Filed in March, happy to see a refund, IRS held out 60 days on “Identity Verification”, then another estimate of 90 days. Same name, same address, same employer, for 25 years. Cannot get a F2F appointment. Right now I feel scammed and lied to. @USTreasury
I agree with rhe facts that information is basically free and the underlying premise of indoctrination taking place. I think a reboot is needed because there is value in teaming, leadership, mentoring, and feedback loops. These are things that study alone cannot provide. Also the availability of facilities and equipment needed for the sciences, not only for deep sciences but also industrial, agriculture, aviation, etc. if we had an alternative where young people could get hired based on aptitude and then promoted based on merit or performance (almost like a baseball farm system) that would be interesting. The idea that you have to have a degree to get hired needs to be eliminated. It would be very interesting if a reputable firm removed “education” from their resume filtering criteria.
Congratulations to Emil Morales on his promotion to @greatlakesloons! Following a strong performance against San Jose, Morales talks about his time in Ontario and what this promotion meant to him.
