Asked Pam Cox MP for help about serious issue affecting type 1 diabetics in Colchester. Got cut and paste response about type 2 diabetes. They're different conditions. It's so thoughtless.

@fesshole My dad used to skip with me when I was little. Your daughter will look back and think it was one of the best moments of her life too. RIP Dad, you skipping loon!
For every candidate who says, "Not a single vote has been cast yet," well, the postal voters got their ballot papers today. *runs to post box* #elections2024
@HPersaud I wrote a flash fiction and it came nowhere in a competition but I believed in it. I CHANGED THE TITLE and sent it to the same competition a year later. Placed 2nd!!! The title! Hilarious. Definitely believe in your work. AND know competitions are subjective.
@Mslexia Get out a quality notebook and comfy pen. Ask the Universe who's going to arrive on your page and write to fill the page without stopping. It's amazing who arrives through my unconscious brain.
What an experience @ClwydTweets with The Shawshank Redemption. I cried buckets. Bravo to cast and crew. It'll stay with me for a long time. And, those final few moments...perfection.
@englishwinelove So agree. I lost my mind over Christmas when I couldn't find my favourite hat. I think my brain is so full of parallel processing the grief, it can't deal with trivial things like hat locating. I did find it. Somewhere obvious.
@futuresgirluk@AvantiWestCoast I'm in same boat Going to get any train to Crewe and figure it out from there! Thought I'd travel early in week to avoid mayhem.
@Ben_Aaronovitch Are you telling me you write about magic and fairies and river goddesses, but your readers will get bent out of shape if you have a seagull snatching chips at night? A chip's a chip at anytime.
