We are thrilled to announce that we've signed poet and writer Sarah Rose Nordgren's next book - Wilderment: Creative Writing in the Time of Climate Change. Nordgren works at the intersection of art, education, and climate activism. This intervention in the field of environmental writing offers a framework of "wilderment" as a provocation to embrace the bewilderment of these times - as a state of uncertainty that remains alive with curiosity and an attunement to mystery.
Nordgren is the author of two poetry collections, Darwin's Mother and Best Bones both from the University of Pittsburgh Press, and Feathers" A Bird-Hat Wearer's Journal (Essay Press).
She is the Founding Director of The School for Living Futures an experimental, interdisciplinary project dedicated to creating new knowledge and possibility for our climate-changed future.
